Rubber Ducks! is a game about ducks fusing into bigger ducks. It should be a calm place. These guidelines cover the parts of the game where you can see other people — your display name, the global leaderboards, friends and duo matches — and explain how reporting, blocking and appeals work. They form part of our Terms of Service.
Your display name is the one thing you write that other players see. If you join the global leaderboard, add a friend, or play a duo match, your name is public. You may not use a name that:
Names are checked when you save them. If a name is refused, the App tells you so and asks for a different one — it will also tell you if a name is simply already in use by someone else. A name that is already live can still be reset later if it is reported and reviewed.
If a display name breaks these rules, open the … menu on that player’s row and choose a reason:
Reports are anonymous to the player reported. A few limits keep the system fair:
Reporting a name you simply dislike, or reporting someone to push them off a leaderboard, is itself a misuse of the system.
If you would rather just not see someone, open the same … menu and choose Block. Blocking hides that player from your leaderboards and friends lists, and hides you from theirs.
You can undo a block yourself at any time. Open the Safety Centre from the Me tab to see everyone you have blocked and unblock them. You do not need to contact us.
Friend codes and challenge links are for playing with people you want to play with. Do not use them to pester someone who has blocked you or asked you to stop, and do not share another player’s friend code without their agreement. There is no chat in Rubber Ducks! and we have no plans to add one — the only thing you can send another player is a game.
Depending on how serious it is, and on what has happened before, we may:
We aim to be proportionate. A single edge-case word gets an automated refusal, not a ban. Repeated or serious behaviour escalates.
If your name was reset or your account was suspended and you think we got it wrong, email support@racoza.com with the name or account in question and a short explanation. A person reads it. We aim to reply within 14 days.
Appeals about hate speech, sexual content or cheating are rarely overturned. Appeals about ordinary words that happen to contain a banned sequence — a real name, a place, a harmless word — are usually fixed quickly, and we would rather hear about those than not.
For moderation questions, appeals, or anything the in-app tools cannot capture: support@racoza.com.
