Racoza Studios

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 13, 2026  ·  Last updated: September 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Racoza Studios, LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects information when you play Rubber Ducks! (the “App”) on iOS and Android. It replaces our previous game privacy policy dated May 13, 2026.

1. Who we are

Racoza Studios, LLC is a limited liability company registered in Florida, United States, and is the developer and operator of Rubber Ducks!. We are the data controller for the information described here.

Privacy contact: support@racoza.com. This address reaches the person responsible for privacy at Racoza Studios, and is the correct place to send any request or complaint about your data, including requests from residents of Quebec.

2. What we collect

The categories below are the complete list of what leaves your device. We have written this section against the App’s actual source code rather than against a template.

2.1 Your anonymous account

The first time you open the App we create a randomly generated anonymous account for you on our backend. It is identified by a random identifier and is not linked to your name, email or any other personal detail unless you choose to sign in (section 2.5). You do not need to create an account, and we do not ask you to.

2.2 Device and app information

2.3 Advertising identifier

On Android, the Google Advertising ID (AAID). On iOS, the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), and only if you grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. These are used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads. You can reset or limit them at any time in your device settings (see section 5).

2.4 Gameplay data

These are stored on your device and synced to our backend so your progress survives a reinstall.

2.5 Information you choose to provide

2.6 Purchases

If you buy something in the App, the payment itself is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see or receive your card number, bank details or billing address. What we do receive and store is the purchase record: which product you bought, which store it came from, the store’s transaction identifier, whether it was a test or a live purchase, and the store’s receipt for that transaction. We need this to grant what you paid for, to restore it on a new device, and to keep accurate records.

2.7 Notifications

If you allow notifications, we store the push token your device issues, so we can send you reminders and announcements. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

2.8 Analytics events

We record events describing how the App is used — sessions starting and ending, runs beginning and finishing, ads being shown, purchases starting and completing, errors. These are attached to your anonymous account, not to your name.

2.9 What we do not collect

We do not collect your real name, postal address, phone number, payment card details, contacts, photos, microphone audio, camera images, or precise location. The App requests only internet access, network state and notification permissions.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

If you are in the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, the law requires us to name a legal basis for each purpose. This is ours:

4. Who we share it with

These are the third parties that receive data through the App. Each handles it under its own privacy policy, in addition to ours.

We require any third party with whom we share player data — including the analytics tools, advertising networks and software development kits listed above — to provide the same or equal protection of that data as is stated in this Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our players, or the safety of others.

5. Advertising and your choices

Rubber Ducks! shows banner, interstitial and rewarded video ads through Google AdMob.

6. Children

Rubber Ducks! is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We do not ask your age, and the law does not require a general-audience service to do so. But if we learn that a player is under 13 — for example from an email you or your child sends us, or from a display name that reveals it — we will delete that account and the data attached to it promptly, and stop serving personalised advertising to it.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information to the App, email support@racoza.com and we will act on it.

7. How long we keep it

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

Deleting your account. The App has a delete-account option that removes your profile, leaderboard entries, friends, reports, blocks, notification token, run history and purchase records from our systems, and deletes your login itself. This is immediate and cannot be undone, and it does not cancel or refund purchases — refunds are handled by Apple and Google, as described in our Terms of Service.

To exercise any other right, email support@racoza.com. We will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. If you are in Quebec, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information. Wherever you live, you are welcome to ask us for access to or deletion of your data, and we will honour it.

9. Where your data is processed

Racoza Studios, LLC operates from the United States, and information you give us is processed there. Our service providers — Supabase, Google and Apple — operate data centres in several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country you live in. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the Standard Contractual Clauses our providers put in place.

10. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for everything the App sends, and row-level security on our database so that one player cannot read another player’s data. Payment details never reach our systems at all. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we keep the amount of personal information we hold deliberately small, which is the most effective protection we can offer you.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will tell you in the App before it takes effect.
